Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using provided diagnostic equipment
- Implement security protocols and monitor network performance
- Document network configurations and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects
- Perform regular network audits and system backups
- Train staff on network best practices and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Ability to lift 50lbs and operate company-provided vehicles
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
