Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Diagnose and resolve network issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network optimization projects
- Monitor network performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks
- Train junior staff on network best practices and equipment usage
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with both wired and wireless network infrastructures
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently
- Valid Colorado driver's license for occasional site visits
