Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Troubleshoot network outages and implement timely resolution strategies
- Document network changes, configurations, and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network security initiatives
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for complex network issues
- Implement network optimization projects to enhance performance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network hardware
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools and network automation
- Valid driver's license and ability for occasional on-site visits
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred
