Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software across LAN/WAN environments.
- Perform cable termination, fiber optic splicing, and rack and stack server configurations.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues with minimal downtime.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on cabling infrastructure and network devices.
- Document network changes, configurations, and technical procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement system upgrades and security patches.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration or field support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, routing protocols, and subnetting.
- Physical stamina to perform site visits, climbing, and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs.
