Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system upgrades
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user requests
- Perform network capacity planning and optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper network equipment
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
