Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and manage ticket queues
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networks for enterprise environments
- Document network changes using Visio and maintain accurate topology maps
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security protocols
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and incidents
- Manage IP addressing schemes and DNS configurations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification required
- Expertise in TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and VLAN configuration
- Proficient with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for wired/wireless networks
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) a plus
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
