Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark to identify bottlenecks
- Resolve network outages within SLA targets through systematic troubleshooting
- Document network topologies, configurations, and maintenance procedures
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support to end-users via ticketing systems
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network infrastructure experience
- CompTIA Network+ and/or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper hardware and Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud networking
- Excellent problem-solving skills with customer service focus
