Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network topology and configuration changes
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for network-related issues
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams on hybrid solutions
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent experience (CCNA/JNCIA certification required)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper networking equipment
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong understanding of network security best practices
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
