Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompts for GPT-4, Claude, and other LLMs to achieve specific business outcomes
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and prompt iteration to maximize model performance and reliability
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model parameters and improve response quality
- Document prompt engineering frameworks and best practices for team-wide adoption
- Develop evaluation metrics to assess prompt effectiveness and model alignment with business goals
- Lead workshops to educate stakeholders on prompt engineering principles and capabilities
- Stay current with emerging AI research and integrate cutting-edge techniques into prompt strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or AI/ML role with proven prompt optimization results
- Expertise in crafting complex prompts for conversational AI, chatbots, and content generation
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures, limitations, and ethical implications
- Exceptional written communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects with measurable impact
- Experience working in agile development environments with version control (Git)
