Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timeframes
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Implement network security protocols and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cloud services teams on hybrid network solutions
- Train staff on network best practices and security protocols
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network hardware
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and network automation
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent security training
