Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark to ensure optimal uptime
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports using ITIL best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues and support system integrations
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning to anticipate future needs
- Provide user training and technical support for network services and applications
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering, IT, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network infrastructure
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required (CCNP a plus)
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols (SSL, IPSec)
- Experience with cloud networking platforms like AWS VPC or Azure Virtual Networks
- Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose complex network issues
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interactions
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple office locations as needed
