Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark tools
- Implement network security protocols including VPNs and intrusion detection
- Document network infrastructure changes and maintenance logs
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for LAN/WAN connectivity issues
- Collaborate with cloud services teams for hybrid network integration
- Perform regular network audits and capacity planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with VMware ESXi and virtual networking
- Strong problem-solving skills with network diagnostic tools
- A+ certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
