Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement robust security protocols
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable network solutions
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for complex network incidents
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/Junos, TCP/IP, and VLAN implementation
- Strong knowledge of network security best practices (firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
