Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts.
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure optimal speed and reliability.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with the IT team to upgrade hardware and software as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
- Valid CCNA or Network+ certification is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
