Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and optimize enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement security protocols (VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migrations and hybrid network solutions
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex network issues
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or 3+ years equivalent experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for wired/wireless networks and VoIP systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites
