Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Perform routine network monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure firewalls, routers, and switches to secure network traffic.
- Respond to network incidents and resolve connectivity issues efficiently.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incidents in our IT management system.
- Collaborate with the IT management team to plan and execute network upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with company security protocols and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid Cisco CCNA certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Cisco and/or Juniper network equipment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
