Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors and executive leadership
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author quarterly white papers on emerging technologies with 6+ month lead times
- Drive scenario planning for geopolitical, technological, and market disruptions
- Mentor junior futurists and establish department KPIs for innovation impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) preferred
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
