Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to internal staff via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of computer workstations and peripherals.
- Monitor and maintain network connectivity and security protocols.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our knowledge base.
- Conduct basic hardware inventory and asset management tasks.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new software updates and security patches.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of PC hardware components (RAM, CPU, storage) and peripherals.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and basic Linux commands is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (we support this).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
