Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to define user requirements and translate them into actionable design solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard tools like Figma
- Conduct user research sessions and synthesize findings to inform design decisions
- Participate in design critiques and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and users
- Assist in developing user journey maps and information architecture documentation
- Contribute to our design system by creating reusable components and patterns
- Stay updated on UX trends and share insights with the team
- Support usability testing efforts and help analyze results
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent portfolio experience)
- Portfolio demonstrating design thinking and problem-solving skills (projects welcome)
- Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools (training provided)
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for learning and willingness to grow in UX design
- Portfolio showcasing personal or academic design projects (even class assignments count!)
