Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and Adobe XD
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to implement designs
- Develop user personas and journey maps based on research findings
- Participate in design critiques and iterate based on feedback
- Assist in maintaining and evolving our design system
- Document design processes and share knowledge with the team
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design sensibility (school projects, personal work, or passion projects welcome)
- Basic understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, layout)
- Eagerness to learn industry-standard tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and iterate quickly
- Interest in user-centered design methodologies
- High school diploma or equivalent (design degree preferred but not required)
