Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk, QRadar, and Sentinel
- Lead incident response for security breaches including containment and eradication
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls
- Provide threat intelligence briefings to executive leadership
- Mentor junior analysts through knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on SOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools and threat detection methodologies
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
