Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for vulnerabilities and incidents
- Conduct threat hunting, forensic analysis, and incident response coordination
- Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures
- Perform risk assessments and compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen defenses
- Generate security reports and executive dashboards
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, OS hardening, and cloud security
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
