Responsibilities
- Assist in user research through surveys and usability testing
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma
- Document design decisions in user journey maps and flow diagrams
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design implementation
- Participate in daily sprint planning and design critiques
- Contribute to our design system library
- Present design concepts to stakeholders with mentorship
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving through design (academic projects welcome)
- Basic understanding of UX principles (user-centered design, information architecture)
- Proficiency in Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Associate's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Portfolio website or Behance profile showcasing 3+ projects
- Ability to receive constructive feedback and iterate quickly
