Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and debugging of software applications used for equity options analysis and trading execution.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate financial models into scalable software code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions to ensure high-quality, maintainable software.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to identify and resolve software defects in low-latency systems.
- Learn and implement best practices for data security and transaction integrity in financial environments.
- Support the maintenance of existing trading platforms and optimize performance for real-time data processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of basic programming concepts (variables, loops, functions, data structures).
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, C++, or Java preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical approach to debugging.
