As part of our remote team, you will work directly with senior engineers to build scalable software solutions that power our trading platforms. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes financial data without the need for prior industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python and C++ to support our equity options pricing engines.
- Model Support: Assist the quantitative research team in implementing and testing mathematical models for option valuation.
- Data Pipeline: Help build and optimize data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of market data.
- Testing & Debug: Participate in rigorous code reviews and unit testing to ensure system stability and accuracy.
- Documentation: Document code logic and technical specifications to facilitate team collaboration.
- Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest financial software trends and contribute innovative ideas to improve our trading infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance (Graduates with no experience are strongly encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or C++ with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Interest in Finance: A strong interest in financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives.
- Remote Discipline: Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, Linux environments, and SQL databases is a plus.
