Your Role
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will support our data-driven initiatives by ensuring data quality, performing basic analysis, and communicating findings to stakeholders. If you have a knack for numbers and a passion for storytelling through data, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large sets of raw data to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from various databases and reporting tools.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs.
- Document data pipelines and analytical methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and basic understanding of SQL.
- Tools: Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio is a plus but not required.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Attitude: A proactive learner eager to gain hands-on experience in data analytics.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Indianapolis, IN.
