Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, cleaning, and validating data from various sources to ensure accuracy for analysis.
- Support the data analysis team in performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns.
- Create clear, intuitive dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven insights.
- Maintain and update existing data models and documentation to support ongoing operations.
- Perform basic statistical analysis and generate regular performance reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business) or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and basic data structures.
- Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts (mean, median, mode, standard deviation).
- Basic knowledge of SQL or a willingness to learn (queries, joins, filtering).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.
