Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preparing large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Report Generation: Develop and maintain clear, concise, and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis and trend identification to support business strategy and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Database Support: Support the management of our SQL databases and assist in querying data to answer specific business questions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and improve reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and basic understanding of SQL or Python is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Motivation: A genuine passion for learning new technologies and a willingness to grow within the data analytics field.
- Availability: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
