The Role
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will assist in gathering, cleaning, and interpreting complex datasets. You will play a vital role in helping our clients understand their data and make informed business decisions. While previous professional experience is not required, a strong aptitude for numbers and logic is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collect and clean raw data from various sources to ensure high data quality.
- Assist in the creation of interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
- Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and presentations.
- Maintain and update existing databases and documentation to support business operations.
- Support the data engineering team in the implementation of new data pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) or Python is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
