Responsibilities
- Monitor Systems: Observe and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity or potential security breaches using SIEM tools.
- Incident Support: Assist senior analysts in responding to security incidents, documenting findings, and creating detailed reports.
- Vulnerability Management: Help identify and patch software vulnerabilities in our internal systems and client networks.
- Compliance: Support audits and ensure adherence to industry security standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Security Awareness: Educate staff on security best practices and assist in phishing simulation training programs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field is preferred (but not mandatory).
- Passion: A strong desire to learn about cybersecurity and a curious mindset regarding how systems work.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems is a plus.
