Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts related to equity options trading platforms using SIEM tools
- Assist in implementing vulnerability assessments for financial transaction systems
- Document security incidents and support forensic investigations in compliance with FINRA regulations
- Collaborate with trading teams to identify and remediate security gaps in options workflows
- Participate in penetration testing simulations for financial applications
- Stay updated on emerging threats affecting financial markets and contribute to defense strategies
- Support compliance audits for SEC and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Fundamental knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
