We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC). Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Analyze network traffic logs to identify suspicious activities and potential intrusions.
- Assist in the identification and remediation of system vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to the documentation of security policies, incident reports, and playbooks.
- Perform routine checks on firewall configurations and access controls.
- Collaborate with the IT team to patch systems and secure endpoints.
- Participate in tabletop exercises and security simulations to improve incident response readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred (or willingness to study for it).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
