Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations and software installations.
- Log and track all help desk tickets in the service management system (ServiceNow/Zendesk).
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to learn network architecture and server maintenance procedures.
- Conduct basic training sessions for non-technical staff on company software and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer components, operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS), and peripheral devices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical problems.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Seattle metro area.
- Current enrollment in a relevant certification program (CompTIA A+, Network+) is highly desirable.
