Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications to ensure system stability.
- Manage and track helpdesk tickets accurately to ensure timely resolution of user issues.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to learn best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.
- Conduct routine system checks and perform backups to prevent data loss.
- Train junior staff or end-users on new software tools and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Lubbock office.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) is a plus but not required.
