What You Will Do
As a Trainee, you will work closely with our senior technical team to learn the ropes of desktop support, network troubleshooting, and system administration. You will gain hands-on experience with the latest hardware and software technologies in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Hardware & Software Support: Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- User Assistance: Provide exceptional first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person to resolve connectivity and software issues.
- Network Troubleshooting: Learn to diagnose and resolve common network connectivity problems and Wi-Fi issues within the office.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of IT equipment and assist in the deployment of new hardware.
- Ticket Management: Log and track support tickets in the help desk system, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Training & Development: Attend weekly technical workshops and complete assigned online courses to build foundational IT knowledge.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Basics: Basic understanding of how to use a computer, navigate the Windows operating system, and use Microsoft Office applications.
- Attitude: A strong desire to learn, solve problems, and a willingness to be mentored.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time, including weekends or evenings as required by business needs.
- Problem Solving: Logical thinking and the ability to remain calm under pressure when troubleshooting issues.
