Job Description
Join the Revolution in Generative AI
Apex Logic Systems is at the forefront of artificial intelligence innovation, and we are looking for a top-tier Senior Prompt Engineer to join our team in Seattle. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing prompt strategies that drive the performance of our large language models (LLMs).
You will work directly with data scientists and product managers to define the parameters of AI behavior, ensuring our solutions are not only powerful but also safe, accurate, and aligned with business objectives. If you are passionate about the intersection of linguistics and code and want to shape the future of AI, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop & Optimize: Design complex prompt templates and strategies to maximize the performance of LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA) across various enterprise applications.
- Model Evaluation: Conduct rigorous A/B testing, performance analysis, and benchmarking to evaluate model outputs and identify areas for improvement.
- RAG Pipelines: Build and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance the context awareness and accuracy of AI responses.
- Content Strategy: Create high-quality synthetic training data and fine-tuning datasets to continuously improve model capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers and product teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions seamlessly into production workflows.
- Best Practices: Establish and document internal standards for prompt engineering, ensuring scalability and consistency across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) is highly desirable.
- LLM Expertise: Deep understanding of Large Language Model architecture and fine-tuning methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear instructions.
- Tools: Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus) and prompt management tools (LangChain, OpenAI API).
