Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Provide hands-on support for hardware installation, software deployment, and peripheral setup.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic to intermediate technical issues reported by end-users via the help desk system.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, ensuring inventory is up-to-date and organized.
- User Support: Deliver exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and guiding users through technical solutions.
- Network Support: Assist in maintaining local area networks (LAN) and ensuring connectivity is stable for remote and on-site staff.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and create step-by-step guides for common IT procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT support, internships, or a strong passion for technology with self-taught skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and common office software.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evening or weekend shifts as needed.
