Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal clients with a focus on rapid resolution.
- Hardware Management: Assemble, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Software Installation: Install, update, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
- Network Assistance: Assist in maintaining local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) connectivity.
- Help Desk Operations: Manage incoming support tickets, document solutions, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing IT security protocols and user access controls.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred; High school diploma with equivalent technical certification is acceptable.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for system maintenance.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for occasional off-site support).
