Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware systems including workstations, servers, and network equipment
- Provide first-level technical support for end-users via phone, email, and in-person requests
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols, including system updates and vulnerability assessments
- Document technical procedures and create user documentation for internal systems
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
- Participate in cross-departmental IT initiatives and process improvement projects
- Complete vendor training programs for specialized equipment and software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in IT or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications during employment
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in varied environments (office/server rooms)
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport between sites
