Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompt strategies for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary systems
- Conduct iterative prompt testing and performance analysis using quantitative metrics
- Collaborate with ML engineers to refine model outputs and training datasets
- Create comprehensive documentation for prompt libraries and best practices
- Stay current with emerging AI techniques and industry benchmarks
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing prompt solutions
- Analyze user interaction data to continuously improve prompt efficacy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering or NLP experience
- Expertise in fine-tuning LLMs through iterative prompt optimization
- Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and transformer architectures
- Proficiency in Python and API integration for AI systems
- Excellent analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving approach
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects
- Preferred: Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS)
