Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement zero-trust architecture
- Analyze threat intelligence and correlate data to identify emerging risks
- Lead incident response activities and coordinate forensic investigations
- Perform security audits and compliance assessments (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and cryptography
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote settings
