Responsibilities
- Assist with desktop hardware/software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Provide Tier 1 support for user inquiries via ticketing systems and live chat
- Document technical issues and resolutions using ITSM best practices
- Participate in system monitoring and proactive maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex troubleshooting cases
- Complete weekly training modules covering Windows/Linux, Active Directory, and cloud services
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and internal documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (A+/Network+ certification preferred)
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Customer service mindset with patience and empathy
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA A+ certification during training period
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional site visits
