Responsibilities
- Tier 1 & 2 Support: Provide exceptional technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote tools for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including laptops, printers, and mobile devices, ensuring proper deployment and maintenance.
- System Administration: Assist in the management of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 (Office 365), and endpoint security solutions (Antivirus/EDR).
- Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, including OS installation, application conflicts, and connectivity issues.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed tickets and technical documentation within our ticketing system (e.g., Jira Service Management) to track issues and resolutions.
- Meeting Support: Set up and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment for meetings and company events.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional IT support or Help Desk experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows 10/11 and macOS environments. Experience with Linux is a plus.
- Networking: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical staff.
- Tools: Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
