Responsibilities
- Tier 1 & Tier 2 Support: Provide exceptional technical assistance to employees via phone, email, and in-person to resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Hardware Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices; perform regular hardware diagnostics and upgrades.
- System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within Active Directory and various cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, LAN/WAN problems, and ensure secure network access for all staff members.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and prioritize all IT service requests and incidents using the ticketing system to ensure SLAs are met.
- Software Deployment: Assist in the installation, patching, and updating of critical business applications and operating systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and macOS operating systems; experience with Active Directory, Remote Desktop, and ticketing systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon into easy-to-understand instructions.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
