Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across enterprise systems
- Lead incident response procedures including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Perform forensic investigations and compile detailed incident reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration and scripting
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
