Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for all employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and chat with a focus on quick resolution and high customer satisfaction.
- Document all support requests and maintain accurate records in our ticketing system.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to resolve complex issues and implement solutions.
- Train users on new technologies and best practices for system usage.
- Monitor system performance and report any potential issues proactively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and networking concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is a plus.
