Role Overview
The Head of Future Systems will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of our technology roadmap leading up to and through 2026. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the 'Horizon 2026' strategic technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends in AI, Quantum Computing, and Biotechnology.
- Spearhead R&D initiatives to prototype and validate next-generation software and hardware systems.
- Build, mentor, and scale a diverse team of futurists, engineers, and data scientists.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align long-term technical vision with business objectives.
- Secure patents and intellectual property for proprietary technologies.
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders in the tech ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering or technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
- Proven track record of leading successful innovation initiatives or launching disruptive technologies.
- Deep expertise in at least two of the following: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Architecture, or Quantum Mechanics.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
