Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Create and maintain a comprehensive architectural roadmap that aligns with our long-term strategic goals for the year 2026.
- Lead Technical Strategy: Direct the design and implementation of scalable systems capable of handling next-generation data loads and AI workloads.
- Future-Proofing: Identify emerging technologies (e.g., post-silicon computing, advanced neural interfaces) and integrate them into our current architecture.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to translate high-level business strategies into technical execution plans.
- Legacy Transition: Oversee the migration of existing systems to ensure seamless compatibility with 2026-era standards.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select technology partners that align with the future-forward roadmap.
- Team Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and forward-thinking within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic planning capacity.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), Microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Future Tech Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and early-stage Quantum Computing concepts.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think 3-5 years ahead and translate abstract future concepts into actionable technical requirements.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams through major architectural shifts.
