Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology adoption roadmaps across 5+ business units
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3)
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical AI deployment and governance
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof technologies into core offerings
- Present technology forecasts to investors and board members
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget
- Establish cross-industry partnerships with research institutions
- Author thought leadership on technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, and quantum computing fundamentals
- Exceptional stakeholder management across C-suite to technical teams
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Clearance for government-level innovation projects preferred
