- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research consortia
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and investors
- Monitor global tech policy developments to advise on regulatory compliance
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning with 3+ years in foresight methodologies
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS)
- Published research or thought leadership in emerging tech trends
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
